Turning Tragedy into Triumph is a women's Bible Study based upon the book of Esther. This study can be done in a home or church setting. The study materials contain five weeks of lessons which have three weekly lessons. The instructor led class is designed with six weekly instructor led meetings in addition to the course workbook. The format of the instructor sessions is based upon both teaching and group discussion. Women are encouraged to participate in discussion, ask questions, and share personal progress and revelation. This study was written by Pastor Cherie and first taught at Adullam Christian Fellowship in Arabi, Louisiana immediately preceding Hurricane Katrina. These valuable lessons proved timely just weeks later as this tragic hurricane destroyed the lives of many. Today, Pastor Cherie teaches the study with conviction, knowing that the words she wrote before Katrina were a source of comfort and strength to her afterwards. She speaks first hand about how we must allow things that we might view as tragedies to become opportunities to see God move in our life. If we will let Him, God will use every broken, hidden, hurtful, stressful, and unplanned event in our lives for our good and for His Glory. Every life experiences tragedy, but this this study teaches us how to use those tragedies to impact the lives of others.
