Truth Seekers Home Study Groups Women of Hope sponsors a Truth Seekers home study group currently meeting in Red Oak, TX. This study group meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday night of every month at 7:00 pm. Meetings begin with a light meal and fellowship and coffee is served. This multi-racial, multi-generational study group is the perfect fellowship for anyone who wants to gather with others in a setting that welcomes questions by those who are seeking to understand the Bible and apply it's truth to their lives. Both men and women are welcome as are singles and married couples. The group focuses on "Hot Topics" and is set in a format that is welcoming to new Christians, the unsaved who are searching for answers, and mature believers wanting to discuss issues that aren't always touched in a traditional church service. The purpose of Truth Seekers is to provoke people to be certain of what they believe. Members come from different denominational backgrounds which provides interesting perspective from multiple viewpoints. This method forces those in attendance to challenge things that they simply believed as truth because of past teaching. Members quickly become aware that simply believing what they are taught instead of studying the Bible to come to the understanding of truth does not create a firm foundation. Doing so may instead lead them to a place of confusion when they are confronted with an assault on their belief system through opposing doctrine.
